Three layers. You work in two of them.
Label. One bounded legal judgment on one section of one document. Thirty seconds to two minutes. This is most of what is in the queue.
Evaluate. FinePrint measures FinePrint LM against what you and the other reviewers decided. You do not do this step. It is why the Label step is worth paying for.
Review. A FinePrint Legal AI Counsel output that needs a human check. Two to ten minutes. You approve it, correct it, send it back, or say what is missing.
The principle behind all of it: we do not ask you to train a model. We ask you legal questions you already know how to answer.
What a task is
One section of one document, with the definitions and cross-references you need to answer responsibly. Nothing more.
A task states its type, the document type, the clause, the jurisdiction, the minutes it should take and the points it is worth. You see all of that before you start. The section text, the context and the answers open when you accept it.
A judgment is what you submit. One answer, and the short reason behind it.
The ten kinds of task

Types 1, 2, 3 and 9 use the same screen. Only the question and the reason list change.
The five answers
Every comparison offers the same five:
- A is better
- B is better
- Both acceptable — either would stand, and the difference does not matter here.
- Neither acceptable — both would have to be corrected before they could go out.
- Insufficient context — the section and the definitions do not let you decide it. Say what is missing.
Ties and "neither" are recorded as what they are. They are never turned into a preference you did not give.
The Why step
After A or B, one more click. Pick at least one:

It takes under twenty seconds. It is also the part that makes the judgment useful, because it turns "A beat B" into "A beat B because B dropped an exception".
Reviews
Reviews are posted by FinePrint Legal AI Counsel. Each one carries the section, the context, the Counsel output and the exact question to answer.
Four outcomes: Approve, Approve with edits, Return for rework, Escalate. Your edits are kept beside the original. The original is never overwritten.
Reviews are open to lawyers and to approved legal professionals alike. An operator can restrict an individual review to lawyers.
What it pays
Points. Every task is worth points, derived from the minutes it lists.

The same task is worth the same points to everyone. Your tier does not change how many points you get. It changes what they are worth.
The points are on the card before you start and are fixed when you accept. The timer still runs. It records the time you actually spend, which is what estimates, flags and your standing are built from. Reading counts as work.
Points never depend on the answer. Not on A or B. Not on whether you agree with the panel. Not on whether the row is used for training. Not on the outcome of a review. Pay never depends on the answer. That has not changed. A rejected submission can take back the points it earned. Nothing else can.
Paid weekly by FinePrint. Nothing is deducted and no money moves through the application.
Your tier, and what a point is worth
Lifetime points set your tier. Your tier sets the rate. The five names are the ones the ladder always had.

The rate is quoted per 1,000 points. Conversion happens when you cash out, at the tier you are on that day. Reaching a tier makes the points you have already banked worth more. That is what a raise means here.
Every figure above is a setting an operator can change. None of it is written into a page.
The four balances

Open quests are listed on your Points page, each with what it is worth. Work you share is worth 600 to 1,500 points by kind, adjusted for how much of it there is, and twenty-five uploads count. An operator can also add points at any time, and the reason is always shown to you.
A complete profile comes to 4,000 points. That is under the cash-out floor on purpose: a profile alone never produces a payout.
Cashing out
Cash out turns available points into money.
- The floor is 5,000 points. Below it the page says how many points you have to go.
- The quote shows the points, your tier, the rate and the exact amount before you confirm anything. On confirm the points move to Reserved and the rate is fixed. A confirmed cash-out is never re-priced.
- Requested, then Approved, then Paid. A rejection or a cancellation puts the points straight back into Available.
- Cashing out never reduces your lifetime points, so it never costs you a tier.
Payouts are manual and weekly. Marking a cash-out paid records a payment FinePrint has already made; it does not move money, and no money moves through this application.
Work Requests
The longer asks are still in the queue, in their own tab. Every Work Request states its ask in the first word: Review · Redline · Create · Suggest · Other · Feedback.
FinePrint LM takes the first pass. What it cannot finish reaches an approved legal professional, with the file and the model's draft attached.

The rate is the same whether you agree, modify or rework. There is no bonus for agreeing and none for reworking.
Quality
More than one person answers some tasks. Evaluation tasks go to three people independently. Training preference tasks go to one. You can never take two slots on the same task.
Reference tasks. Some tasks have a known answer. They sit in the queue like any other, they pay the same, and they are never marked on screen. About one in twenty.
Standing. One line, on your own page: how often your judgments agree with the panel. Disagreeing with the panel never lowers it on its own, and an operator adjudicates a split rather than overruling anyone's submission.
Report this task. If a definition is missing, the wrong section was attached, or it sits outside what you practice, end it without a judgment and say which. Recorded time is paid at the operator's discretion.
What your tier is worth
A tier says one thing: what a point is worth when you cash out. It does not open
or close a kind of work, it does not set a ceiling on anything, and it never
changes how many points a task is worth.

What you may take is your verified role, your bar admissions and practice areas,
conflicts and how much you have on already. Points never come into it.
The fastest way up is to share work you have already written: a redline you did, a contract you drafted, a memo, a clause library, a playbook. Share only what you may share. Strip names, amounts and anything that identifies a client.
Not a marketplace, not a directory
A directory hands a company a list. A matching platform pairs a buyer with a seller and takes a percentage. Neither is accountable for the work that comes back.
You do not bid, and a company does not shop for you. FinePrint decides what reaches you, on what standard, and writes down why.
This is a queue, not a job. You keep your practice. You are never obliged to take anything.
What we ask of a reviewer
Licensure in good standing, where you are admitted, re-verified on a schedule. An approved legal professional who is not admitted takes the same tasks, and an operator can restrict a job to lawyers.
Conflicts, disclosed and re-checked. We check before a task is offered to you, and again when the facts change.
An answer inside the supplied record. Decide the section in front of you. Where the document does not settle it, say so rather than filling the gap.
Confidentiality. Everything you see is synthetic or anonymized, and the terms bar any attempt to identify a party.
Questions
Am I advising anyone?
No. You answer a bounded question about a document. There is no client, no engagement and no advice through AnswerLoop.
How much does it pay, and when?
A task is worth the points its listed minutes earn, fixed when you accept. Points redeem for money at your tier, from 5,000 points up. Paid weekly by FinePrint.
Could the pay push me toward an answer?
No. The points are set before you start and do not move. Points never depend on the answer, and neither does pay.
Do my points expire, or can I buy them?
Neither. Points do not expire, nobody can buy them, and they cannot be passed to another person.
What happens to my judgment?
It becomes preference and evaluation data for FinePrint LM, with provenance on every row. Training happens outside AnswerLoop. Nothing here claims your submission retrained anything.
Can I choose what I answer?
You choose your queues and, inside them, what to take. Nothing is assigned. Declining costs you nothing.
What if the section is not enough to answer?
Pick Insufficient context and say what is missing, or report the task. Both are paid.
