For lawyers

Answer the hard edge of legal work, once

AnswerLoop is where approved legal professionals answer the work FinePrint's system will not finish on its own. FinePrint LM takes the first pass; you agree, modify or rework it, or you pick the better of two answers it wrote. You are paid per Work Request. You are not advising anyone, and you are not selling anything.

FinePrint runs the work. AnswerLoop supplies judgment at the edge. Every reviewed edge case makes the next answer better.

Every question is answered once by a lawyer and forever by the model.

The five steps

What happens between a Work Request arriving and an answer being kept.

01

The ask

A Work Request arrives with a clear ask: Review, Redline, Create, Suggest, Other or Feedback. The headline says what it is about.

02

The first pass

FinePrint LM takes the first pass: the edited document, the findings memo, the drafted clause, the recommendation.

03

The hand-off

What it cannot finish goes to an approved legal professional. The brief, the model's draft and the file open the moment the request is taken.

04

The response

The lawyer agrees, modifies, or reworks it, and names the governing reason. On a Feedback request the lawyer picks the better of two answers and says why.

05

The release

The answer clears the matter and is released into FinePrint LM. Release never changes what you are paid.

The rate

From $5 for a Feedback request to $500 and more for the rest, set by the request before you accept. The rate is the same whether you agree, modify or rework. Pay never depends on the answer.

Typical rate by ask
AskWhat it meansTypical rate
ReviewRead the work and say whether it stands.$60
RedlineChange the language of a document.$150
CreateDraft a document or clause from the record.$200
SuggestRecommend a course of action or a position.$60
OtherSomething else, stated in the headline.$60
FeedbackPick the better of two answers and say why.$10

These are the typical rates by ask. A request that needs more of a specialist's time is posted at a higher rate, up to $500 and beyond. Paid weekly by FinePrint. Not per hour.

Your rank

Your rank is what you have shown us. Every document you share, every field you fill and every answer you give raises it. A higher rank opens more work and better-paid work. Uploads are read by FinePrint and by nobody else.

Not a marketplace, not a directory

There is no bidding, no profile ranking and no client shopping for a lawyer. A question is routed on jurisdiction, practice area and conflicts, and the system records why it went where it went.

What we ask of a reviewer

Questions

How does work reach you?

The system routes the Work Request by jurisdiction and practice area, and records why it chose you. Not a marketplace, not a directory. Lawyers do not bid and clients do not shop.

What am I paid?

$20 to $500 and more per Work Request, set by the request before you accept. The rate is the same whether you agree, modify or rework. Pay never depends on the answer. Paid by FinePrint, weekly, not per hour.

What do I actually see?

Before you take it: the ask, the headline, the endpoint, the practice area, the state, the turnaround window, the rate and the written standard. The moment you take it: the brief, what FinePrint LM produced and why it stopped there, and the file with its documents and issues. Anonymized artifacts only where the record is anonymized: company, people, counterparties and amounts are removed.

What is a Feedback request?

Two answers from FinePrint LM to the same brief. You pick the one that is right and write a sentence or two saying why. The rate is the same whichever you pick. It is the lowest-rate ask, there are many of them open, and each one takes a few minutes.

What is my rank?

Your rank is what you have shown us. Every document you share, every field you fill and every answer you give raises it. A higher rank opens more work and better-paid work. Nothing you share is seen by another legal professional.

Am I advising anyone?

No. You answer a question about a document against a written standard. There is no client, no engagement and no advice. Matter review, where an engagement does exist, is separate and is handled between the customer and the attorney.

How long does a request take?

The turnaround window is on the request before you accept it: 24 hours, 48 hours or 5 days. You choose the windows you accept in your profile.

What happens to my answer?

FinePrint reads it, releases it into FinePrint LM and the next question of that shape is answered better. Every question is answered once by a lawyer and forever by the model.

Can I decline work?

Nothing is assigned to you. You accept what you want. Conflicts you list are never routed to you at all.
